To begin resetting the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on your 2019 Mazda CX5, first ensure you know the correct air pressure recommendation. You can find this information on the driver's side door jamb. It's best to use a cold air pressure measurement, so allow the tires to cool if possible. Fill all tires to the specified pressure using a digital gauge. Turn the ignition to the ON position without starting the engine. For vehicles with a Start/Stop button, press it once without stepping on the brake pedal. This action will illuminate all the lights on the instrument cluster. Look for the TPMS button located near the steering wheel on the left side of the dashboard. The TPMS light will flash, and you will hear a beep from the horn, indicating that the system has been successfully reset.
To recalibrate the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on the 2019 Mazda CX-5, first ensure that the tire pressure is accurate. Next, start the car and press the reset button located to the right of the steering wheel. Wait for about ten minutes. If needed, hold down the button until the light flashes. A faulty sensor may indicate improper tire pressure, which could impact the car's performance negatively.
