If the TPMS light illuminates in your 2013 Jeep Cherokee indicating low tire pressure, typically driving for at least 10 minutes at speeds over 50 mph can reset the system. However, if the light persists, you can try turning the vehicle's ignition ON without starting the engine and holding down the TPMS reset button until the light blinks three times. The reset button is usually located underneath the steering column. Next, start the vehicle and drive it for a minimum of 20 minutes. Alternatively, you can try inflating all tires 3 psi above the recommended pressure, then deflate them back to the correct amount to potentially reset the TPMS light. Remember to also check the air pressure in your spare tire, as they may also have sensors. Furthermore, using an OBD-II scan tool can help you monitor and log information from all tire pressure sensors.
To recalibrate the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on the 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee, press and hold the TPMS reset button until the tire pressure light flashes, then start the car and wait for about 20 minutes.
