First, ensure that the vehicle is parked on a flat, level surface. Check the tire pressure of each tire to ensure they are at the correct psi. The psi amount can be found on the side of the tire. Next, enter the vehicle and power it on without starting the engine. Locate the button labeled tpms (or similar) to the right of the steering wheel. Press and hold this button until it starts blinking. Allow the vehicle to sit for approximately 20 minutes for recalibration. Once the blinking stops, turn off the car and then back on to confirm the reset was successful.
Press the buttons on the dashboard to activate the horn twice, and then the car will take care of the rest, as long as your tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) is properly connected.
To reset the 2007 Chevy Impala's TPMS system, turn the ignition key to the second position without starting the engine. Hold down the reset button on the dashboard until the TPMS light blinks and then turns off.
