To reset the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on a 2007 Jeep Grand Cherokee, first make sure you are parked on a level surface. Use a tire gauge to confirm that each tire is inflated to 33 PSI. If driving normally doesn't recalibrate the system, insert the key into the ignition and turn it to the "on" position without starting the engine. Locate the TPMS button beneath the steering wheel and press it until it blinks three times. Then, start the engine and let it idle for 20 minutes so that the system can save the tire pressure readings. Another method is to disconnect the positive battery cable for 15 minutes and then reconnect it. Either of these methods should typically turn off a low pressure warning. If the TPMS light remains on, you may need to use an OBDII scanner to clear the warning message.
