To reset the TPMS on the 2017 Kia Forte, there are two methods you can use. One way is by using a relearn tool, while the other way does not require any extra tools. Before attempting to reset it, ensure that the tire pressure is at the correct level, which is 33 psi for both the front and rear tires, regardless of tire size on the vehicle. The first method is to drive over 15 mph for 3 to 5 miles. If this does not work, you will need to use a relearn tool. Follow these steps: drive over 15 mph for 3 to 5 miles. If that's unsuccessful, you will need to use a relearn tool. Use the tool on the tires in the order of left front, right front, right rear, and left rear. Turn the ignition on without starting the car, and connect the tool to the OBDII port to upload the sensor IDs. Turn the ignition off, rescan the tires, and drive the vehicle above 30 mph for at least 10 minutes. Park the car, turn the ignition on without starting it, and hold down the pressure warning reset switch until the TPMS light blinks 3 times.

To recalibrate the tire pressure monitoring system (TPMS) on the 2017 Kia Forte, first, turn the ignition key to the on position. Then, press and hold the TPMS reset button until the tire pressure light flashes three times. Next, start the car and allow about 20 minutes for the system to reset.
