If you have recently moved to a new country or frequently cross the border, you may need to switch the units on your 2016 Honda Pilot from kilometers to miles. It's a quick and easy process that only takes a few seconds. Start by either turning the ignition key to ON without starting the engine or by actually starting the vehicle. Look for the button next to the brightness control on the dashboard to the left of the steering wheel that is labeled "m-km", then press and hold it for three seconds. The conversion should then be displayed in the instrument cluster. If you need to switch back to kilometers, simply press the button again for three seconds.
To switch from kilometers to miles on your media display, use the up and down buttons on the right bottom side of the steering wheel. When you see instructions to press the reset button (located between the up and down buttons), you are changing from miles per hour to kilometers per hour.
