To uninstall the driver's seat from a Ford Ranger, you can use the steps provided here. Start by moving the driver's seat forward as much as possible. Then, find and loosen the bolts located at the bottom back of the seat using a socket set. Once done, move the seat base backward fully and remove the front bolts. Fold the seat back forward and lift it by hand to take it out. It's advised to have assistance due to the seat weighing around 40 to 50 pounds and being challenging to maneuver through the door.
Adjusting the seat downwards is not a helpful instruction.
To take out the driver's seat in a Ford Ranger, first, lower the seat completely. Undo the bolts from the back legs of the seat. Push the seat bottom as far back as possible. Next, remove the bolts from the front legs. Fold the seat, raise it, and take it out of the truck.
Lower the seat completely. Using a socket wrench, take out the bolts from the back section. Push the base back as much as possible. Take out the remaining bolts and then lift up.
Take out the 4 bolts, disconnect the cables underneath, and take off the seat.
