In your 2010 Ford Fusion, the back seat is secured with two clips at the front and two hooks toward the back. To remove the lower part, you'll need to unlock the latches on each side. They can be found in the middle of the seating area on either side. Simply reach under the cushion between your legs to locate the plastic lever that you must pull to the side. While holding the lever to the side, lift the cushion to fully release the clip. Repeat this step on both sides and once both are released, push the cushion towards the back of the car to disengage it from the hooks securing the rear of the seat. Then, thread the seat belt buckles through their openings and you'll be able to take out the seat.
