To reset the oil light on a 2018 Honda Pilot, start by turning the key to the ON position without starting the engine. If your car has a push-button ignition, press it twice without pressing the brake pedal. Use the arrow buttons on the steering wheel controls to locate the REMAINING OIL LIFE option. Press and hold the RESET button for about 10 seconds to enter maintenance reset mode. Scroll to find and select RESET to confirm. If your car has an Audio touch screen display, turn the ignition to ON, press the Home button, and navigate to SETTINGS, then VEHICLE. Find MAINTENANCE INFO and press RESET. Confirm the reset when the message appears.
To begin, switch on the power without starting the engine. Navigate to maintenance information in the system settings. Hold down the reset button to enter reset mode. Once in reset mode, use the arrow buttons to select and reset the light.
