In order to reset the oil change light on your 2009 Toyota Prius, you'll need to follow a simple procedure. Start by turning the ignition to the "On" position without starting the engine, and then press the POWER button twice without touching the brake pedal. Next, press the "Trip" button until you see "TRIP A" on the display. Turn off the ignition, hold down the km/h MPH button, and switch the POWER button to the ON mode. Continue holding the km/h MPH button until you receive confirmation that the reset is complete. Once done, you can turn off the ignition.
To restart your Prius, first, turn off the power by pressing the power button once. Then, press and hold the odometer button and tap the power button twice (2x) while keeping your foot off the brake.
