To open the Porsche Cayenne's hood, first find the release lever inside the cabin on the driver’s side. It's located on the left side of the steering wheel towards the edge of the dash panel, below the driver's knee. Lift the lever to pop the hood slightly open. Next, go to the front of the vehicle, press the center latch, and raise the hood. This action lifts the metal hook and grants access to the engine bay. Extend a support strut to prop the hood open. For older models, make sure to lubricate the latch’s cable to maintain its functionality.
