To disable the interior light in a Toyota Camry, simply push the light cover. Camry models without a moonroof have a central dome light that illuminates both front and rear seat passengers. This dome light features a three-way sliding switch for turning it on, off, or syncing it with the door operation to activate when the doors open. For Camry models with a moonroof, there are lights in the overhead console that can be controlled by the power button or by tapping the light cover to turn them on or off. These lights can also be set to turn on when the doors open. In the rear seating area, there is an overhead light that can be easily managed by pressing on the light itself.
To activate the interior lights in a Toyota Camry, you'll need to utilize the switches. The ones located near the front lights control them, while the switch positioned at the back center turns on the center light.
