To activate or deactivate the emergency lights on a Ford Fusion, find the switch positioned at the top of the center console, situated between the air vents, which displays a red triangle symbol. Press the switch to make the two green arrows on the instrument panel flash, causing all four turn signals (front and back) to flash. Press the switch once more to turn off the hazard lights. In case of a bulb failure, the flashing will be quicker, with a replacement bulb typically priced at about $7. The Fusion has a flasher relay responsible for the flashing lights, integrated into the smart junction box. If the flashers stop working, it might indicate an issue with the smart junction box, which may need to be replaced at a cost of approximately $650 due to known problems.
