To pop the hood of your Subaru Legacy, you'll need to follow a two-step procedure. Firstly, you'll have to find the hood release switch inside the car, situated on the far left of the passenger's side dashboard above the gas pedal. After pressing this switch, step outside and lift the hood with one hand while locating the release latch in the middle of the hood, aligned with the Subaru emblem, using your other hand.
To pop the hood of the Subaru Legacy, first yank the hood release lever inside the car, then locate and pull the latch under the front edge of the hood to fully open it up.
The trunk release lever is located beneath the front left side of the dashboard.
The latch is actually on the driver's side within the interior of the car, not on the passenger side.
In American vehicles, the hood release lever is located on the left side of the driver's dashboard, next to the footrest.
