To release the hood of your 2017 Cadillac Escalade, locate the button on the left side of the driver's dashboard and press it. Then, exit the vehicle and go to the front of the hood. Lift it slightly with one hand and reach inside with your other hand to release the safety latch in the middle section. After completing your task, close the hood as usual, and the latch will lock back into place.
