The Nissan Armada has the fuel door on the driver's side, and the instrument gauge has a fuel pump icon with an arrow showing where the gas tank is. To open the door, press the panel's right edge after exiting the driver's side of the vehicle, and it will swing open to the left. The gas cap is connected to the filler neck by a cable, and you turn it counterclockwise to open and clockwise to close. Make sure to rotate it until you hear a "click" sound to ensure it's securely sealed. You can unlock the fuel door with the remote transmitter or by using the key in the driver's door lock.

That's not true. I spent 10 minutes looking for it and then checked on YouTube. The lever isn't real! You just have to push on the fuel door itself.

I found this website while I was attempting to refuel my rental car. To open the fuel tank door, make sure the car is turned off and then press on the right side of the door. It should unlatch slightly. We initially tried to open it with the car running, but then we realized it might be a safety mechanism. Once we turned off the car, the door popped open easily.
