This will drain the power from the CPU, prompting the system to reset itself the next time it is turned on. Alternatively, you can remove the fuse from the fuse box and wait a similar period of time. This method accomplishes the same result but in a more focused manner. Disconnecting the battery will reset multiple functions, while removing the fuse will only reset the alarm system. However, you will need to refer to the fuse diagram to identify the correct fuse.
