To reset the oil life on a 2016 Dodge Grand Caravan, first park in a safe area away from traffic. The oil life indicator appears when it's time to change the oil and oil filter, typically every 3,000 to 10,000 miles for the Grand Caravan. To reset it, turn the vehicle to the on position without starting the engine. Quickly press and release the accelerator pedal three times within 10 seconds. Then, turn the vehicle off and start it again. The oil life indicator will be reset once the vehicle is running.
