If you have already added oil to your 2015 Mazda6 but the oil indicator light remains illuminated, you can reset it by following these steps. Begin by pressing and holding the trip button with the ignition turned off. Then, switch the ignition to the on position while continuing to hold the button. After a brief moment, the light will flash a few times, indicating that you can release the button. The oil life indicator should now be reset, allowing you to resume driving your vehicle as usual.
To clear the oil light signal on the 2015 Mazda 6, press and hold the trip button while the car is off. Keep holding the button and turn the car on. After about 5 seconds, the master warning light will blink briefly to show the reset is done. Turn the car off, then back on to confirm the oil indicator has been reset.
