To access the gas tank on a new Subaru Outback, you have to go outside and push on the fuel door - there's no internal button for it. The car can hold up to 18.5 gallons of gas, and it gets good mileage at 26 MPG in the city and 33 MPG on the highway. These numbers mean you'll spend less on gas compared to similar vehicles with lower MPG ratings.
To access the gas tank of your Subaru Outback, find the fuel door release button on the driver's side and press it. Then, turn the gas cap counterclockwise to remove it.
Additionally, just for your information, our gas cap automatically locks when we lock the car doors. Just a heads up!
