To access the hood of the 2017 Audi A4, start by pulling the hood release lever located on the left side of the driver's footwell. Some A4 models may have this lever on the right side in the passenger's footwell instead. Once you hear the hood pop, exit the car and open the hood from the outside. Reach into the gap near the center of the vehicle to find and depress another lever to release the hood. A hydraulic arm will keep the hood propped open. To close it, push the hood down to waist height and let it drop securely into place.
