The 2010 Toyota Tacoma requires either SAE 0w-20 or 5w-20 viscosity, full synthetic engine oil. It holds 6.1 quarts of oil for its 2.7-liter, inline-4 engine. The two-wheel-drive model can take up to 4.8 quarts, while the four-wheel-drive model can take up to 5.5 quarts. You can buy a one-quart bottle for $3 to $15 at most retailers, automotive stores, or online sellers. Don't forget to grab a funnel for $1 to $4 as well. Start by using a jack to lift your vehicle, then loosen the drain valve at the bottom of the oil reservoir. Once the old oil has drained out, you can refill it with fresh oil.
The 2010 Toyota Tacoma with the 2.7L 4-cylinder engine requires 6.1 quarts of engine oil when changing the filter. If you have the 4.0L V6 engine, you'll need 4.8 quarts for 2WD models and 5.5 quarts for 4WD models when changing the filter.
