Depending on the specific trim level and year of your Toyota Prius, getting a new front bumper can range in price from $150 to $500. For most owners, it's recommended to have a body shop handle the replacement, which typically costs between $400 and $800 for parts and labor. In the event of a minor collision damaging your front bumper, it may not always be necessary to replace it entirely, as many small to medium dents can be repaired by a body shop.
Replacing a bumper can cost anywhere between $500 and $1500 for a standard replacement.
I had to shell out $1400 for a brand new front bumper, including the cost of the part and labor, here in New Jersey.
I accidentally bumped into some reckless driver's 2014 Toyota Prius today because she drove too close behind my 2001 Pathfinder, barely a foot and a half away. Her dad showed up with the police, claiming it would cost around $6,000 to fix. I called that nonsense. The bumper alone is $248 from Toyota, paint included. Of course, there will be labor costs, but her dad seemed to be trying to make a profit off the situation. I'm pretty confident it will cost more like $700 to $800 to repair. It was just a small crack and a scratch.
