The Dodge Grand Caravan comes with front-wheel drive. It's important to replace the power steering fluid every 75,000 miles. In addition to regular fluid changes, you might notice noises coming from the steering components. If there's a faulty bearing, it will produce a loud and unpleasant sound, while a loose bearing will create an annoying noise. Good steering is essential for maneuvering on the roads, such as changing lanes. However, you may encounter issues down the line, like the vehicle pulling to one side, the steering wheel getting stuck, or steering fluid leaking. A loose steering pump can spell disaster for your vehicle. Keep an eye out for potential problems like bad strut bearings or a faulty rack mount.
The 2018 Dodge Grand Caravan does not offer all-wheel drive or four-wheel drive in any of its two models. The SE and SXT versions only come with front-wheel drive as the available option.
