If your 2018 Camry experiences problems with the push-to-start feature, you should first inspect the starter motor to ensure it is functioning properly. If no issues are found with the starter motor, then you should proceed to check the fuse. Locate the fuse box to the left of the steering wheel by looking for a small seam or crack along the dashboard. Using a screwdriver or prybar, gently open the fuse box cover. Inside, you will find several fuses. On the back of the cover, there should be a diagram indicating the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram is not present on the back of the cover, you can refer to the vehicle's owner's manual instead. Identify the fuse that needs replacing and carefully remove it. Check that the thin metal strip connecting the two raised sections of the fuse is intact. If the strip is broken, the fuse is faulty and must be replaced. If the strip is undamaged, reinsert the fuse back into its slot. Replacement fuses typically cost around 10 dollars, making them a cost-effective solution.
