If the power outlet in your Chevy Express isn't working, it's usually due to a blown fuse in the power inverter. Check the fuse in the panel under the driver's side dash. If the fuse is good, check the wiring at the back of the outlet for loose connections. If everything looks good, the issue may be debris that has damaged the outlet, requiring a replacement.
I own a 2020 Silverado 1500 with a built-in power outlet. Despite having power cables connected to it, the outlet is not functioning. Can you help me troubleshoot this issue?
It seems like the fuse may have blown, so you'll have to find the fuse box and swap out the fuse to get it working again.
Many are right - begin with the fuse, then inspect the wiring. However, a few outlets will work only when the vehicle is in motion. Thus, remember to frequently verify this commonly missed initial stage.
The fuse can be found on the driver's side in the engine bay.
