The main reason why the push-button start doesn't work on a Nissan Armada is typically due to not pressing the brake pedal firmly enough. Another possible cause could be a defective push button switch. Additionally, the engine will only start if the key fob is inside the car, but how does the car security system detect this? Inside the key fob, there is a small transmitter/receiver that communicates wirelessly with the car's security system. When the key fob battery weakens, it may fail to communicate with the car, but a simple fix is to place the key fob close to the start button.
