Firstly, it could have been damaged by debris on the road and will require repair. Secondly, the power wire to the camera may be faulty. Lastly, a common issue is that the fuse powering the system may have blown out. The fuse box is located to the left of the steering wheel under a removable panel. Look for the seam to access it. Fuses are inexpensive and straightforward to replace, so you should be able to fix it for around $10 to $15.
