Locating the battery in a 2004 Toyota RAV4 may be puzzling since it's situated in an unconventional position under the hood. When you pop the hood and direct your gaze towards the windshield on the passenger side, you'll see a panel with instructions indicating the battery's location underneath. By opening the two plastic clips at the front of the panel, you can easily access the battery. In addition, there is a component on top of the battery fastened with a pair of 10 mm bolts that must be removed before taking out the battery.
