For the 2019 Ford Ranger, Ford transitioned to using mostly steel for the roof, doors, bedsides, and bed, rather than aluminum. Although the cab's body-in-white remains aluminum, the pillars feature steel with boron reinforcements. This change was likely made in response to Chevrolet's criticism of the F-150's impact resistance back in 2016. Opting for a primarily steel exterior can also simplify repairs at local auto shops when servicing these latest Ford models.

Can you tell me if there are any intentions to switch the Ranger to an all-aluminum body? I currently own a 2019 F150 that has an aluminum body, and I would think about getting a Ranger if it also had an all-aluminum body.

In my 2022 XLT extended cab truck, only the hood and tailgate are made of aluminum. I used a magnet to test and found that the front fenders are steel, not aluminum.

If you believe that using aluminum is a good choice for constructing a vehicle's body, you'll quickly realize how mistaken you are once it gets damaged. While luxury cars with high repair costs may be exceptions, for practical everyday vehicles like trucks, opting for aluminum is simply unwise.
