To access the fuse box, locate a small seam or crack on the left side of the dash next to the steering wheel. You can use a screwdriver or prybar to open it up. Inside, you'll find a variety of fuses. The back of the panel you removed will have a diagram showing the purpose of each fuse. If it's not there, you can refer to the vehicle's owner's manual. Once you identify the faulty fuse, simply remove it. Check if the thin metal strip connecting the two raised sections of the fuse is intact - if broken, the fuse needs replacement; otherwise, it's still good to use. New fuses are inexpensive, costing around $10.
