The Jeep Compass offers an optional universal garage door opener, manufactured by Homelink. This feature allows you to program it to control your garage door, house lights, and any motorized gates at your home or in your neighborhood. To program it, you'll need to have the garage door opener transmitter with you. Press and hold the desired button on the Homelink system while simultaneously pressing the button on the transmitter within 1 to 3 inches of the Homelink. Hold both buttons until the Homelink light flashes slowly, then release the buttons and test the system's functionality.
