The 2019 Toyota Highlander features remote connectivity, but you may encounter sound issues, whether from the vehicle's stereo speakers or a connected phone. It's important to address these problems promptly. If the sound problems originate from the phone, it may be due to issues such as software updates not occurring, the device not syncing with the vehicle, low battery, or signal interference. On the other hand, if the audio problems stem from the stereo speakers, they could manifest as static noise, sudden shutdowns, loose wiring, or a blown fuse.
I just bought a 2019 Toyota Highlander Limited Platinum, but it doesn't have the remote connect feature included. Given the high-end trim level, I expected it to come standard with remote connect. Really let down by Toyota on this.
Remote Connect is a newly introduced feature available for the 2019 Toyota Highlander. Upon opting for Remote Connect, buyers will enjoy a complimentary 6-month trial period. Thereafter, a monthly fee of $8 or an annual fee of $80 will be applicable based on the preferred payment plan.
