The 2018 Toyota 4Runner comes with a spare tire that is a bit hidden but easy to access. To get to it, open the back of your vehicle and look for a compartment on the driver's side panel with some clips. Remove the clips and panel to find the tools for lowering the tire. Connect the two rods provided, locate the hole at the bottom center of the rear trunk, and secure the rods around the part that needs to be loosened. Then, attach the fitting tool to the rod and turn counterclockwise until the tire drops down under the vehicle.
