As car makers move towards ditching traditional spare tires for a tire repair kit known as the "TMK," they aim to boost storage space and enhance fuel efficiency. The 2019 Nissan Altima, however, doesn't leave drivers stranded in case of a flat tire and offers adequate space to carry a spare. The spare tire is housed in the trunk underneath a plastic lid and the floorboard. By lifting the carpet and lid, you'll reveal the new tire. Inside the tire is a square foam piece that secures a jack and tools in place. This feature comes standard with the Nissan Altima. The Altima comes with 16-19 inch rims and its tires should be inflated to a recommended PSI of 33.
