The 2003 Nissan Altima did not come with a built-in AUX input. To add one, you will have to purchase and install an aftermarket kit, which can cost between $20 and $60. Before buying a kit, you will need to remove your current radio by unbolting it to check if it has the necessary port. The radio is held in place by 6 bolts. After removing them, take out your stereo and examine the back to see if there is an available port for installation.
