The 2019 Ford F-250 may have transmission issues like shuddering and getting stuck in one gear. The transmission is crucial for the vehicle, so experiencing problems is inevitable. Symptoms could include shuddering, rough shifting, jerking, and gears becoming stuck. Transmission slipping and fluid leaks should be addressed promptly. Delayed shifts can lead to acceleration problems. It's recommended to change the transmission fluid every 30,000 to 60,000 miles to avoid issues. In addition to fluid changes, be aware of strange noises coming from the transmission, as old fluid can cause unpleasant sounds. A malfunctioning torque converter can also be a major headache.

My 2019 Ford F-250 truck has 2200 miles on it. There have been a few instances where, when I put it in gear and try to move, it hesitates, jerks, and then moves. Taking it in for a check-up tomorrow to see what's going on.

My 2019 Ford F250 was recently brought to the dealership for not shifting gears correctly and unexpectedly switching through them.

Me too. I drive a 2019 F350 dually with only 13,000 kilometers on it. I'm hearing loud banging noises when it shifts gears and feeling jerky movements when driving slow.

I have experienced a similar issue with hesitation when shifting between park, drive, or reverse. I initially had it looked at when my vehicle reached 10,000 miles, but resetting the shift module didn't solve the problem. Now, at only 19,000 miles during my second oil change, my dealer is saying that Ford is suggesting a transmission rebuild for my $50,000 truck that's just a year old. Personally, I would prefer them to replace the transmission altogether rather than going through a rebuild process.

I own a 2019 F250 Limited diesel truck with 22,000 miles on it. When the truck is cold, it shifts roughly, and last night, after driving at 55 mph for about an hour, the transmission suddenly started downshifting on its own, going from 5th gear all the way down to 1st gear. I was left stranded in the middle of nowhere. I managed to shift it into neutral to get it out of the road, but now it won't move forward even when I press the gas pedal while in drive.

Purchased a new 2019 F250 6.2 gas model, but it had numerous problems, with the transmission being the major issue. When towing a trailer, it would downshift aggressively, causing the RPMs to surge beyond 5,000. This sudden jolt was troublesome, especially when towing a heavy load. Despite bringing it to two different dealerships and reaching out to Ford for assistance, the issue remained unresolved. After many months of frustration, I ended up selling the truck back to the dealership at a loss. I have sworn off buying their unreliable vehicles ever again!

I bought a 2019 F250 Lariat from Parks Ford in Hendersonville, North Carolina, but it came with a faulty transmission. They replaced it with a new one under warranty. However, after only driving 3000 miles, the new transmission is now having issues shifting between 3rd and 4th gear. It's frustrating how expensive these trucks are and yet they seem to have constant problems.
