I don't see any recalls listed for the 2016 Chevrolet Traverse purge valve, but there is a relevant technical service bulletin. While not exactly the same as a recall, this is important information for you to be aware of. Technical service bulletins like this one point to ongoing issues with specific components and provide instructions on how to address them. For 2016 and 2017 Traverse models (as well as some other Buick, Chevy, and GMC vehicles), the evaporative emissions purge valve may not fully close, leading to rough idling or stalling. General Motors offers coverage for this issue for up to 10 years or 120,000 miles, so if you're experiencing these symptoms, it's best to visit a dealership rather than attempting DIY repairs.
This vehicle does not have any recalls concerning its purge valve at the moment.
