To replace the taillight cover of a Ford Fusion, first, access the tail light by entering through the side of the trunk. This may require moving the trunk liner to reveal the fixture holding the cover in place. Undo the bolts and screws securing the cover to the vehicle, then carefully detach the cover. Consider taking out the inner components of the taillight to prevent damaging the wiring, especially during more forceful actions. With the cover removed, you can easily install a new one following the same steps used to remove the old cover.
When you loosen and unscrew the fuse tail light cover, it should easily come off. Then, you can easily screw on the new cover in its place.
