The 2006 Lexus GS300 is equipped with a timing chain, which is prone to causing various engine issues. Loose gaskets should be promptly tightened to prevent further problems, such as oil leaks or a spark plug dislodging. Engine overheating poses a severe risk, potentially leading to car fires and even explosions. Keep an eye out for excessive oil consumption and change the oil when necessary. Remember to replace the air filter every 15,000 to 30,000 miles, change the coolant every 60,000 miles, and swap out the spark plugs every 100,000 miles unless they are copper, in which case they should be changed every 30,000 miles or so.
