I tried reprogramming the key, repeating the process twice, which ended up draining my battery. When I turned the key, I heard a single click and saw the battery light along with the solid anti-theft light. After some research, I disconnected the battery in the trunk and unscrewed the lead battery post under the hood that connects to the fuse panel. I cleaned the connections on both sides of the eyelets and the bottom of the post. After putting everything back together and tightening it, the car started right up unexpectedly. I'm not sure why the anti-theft light came on, but the significant corrosion on my connections may have played a role. Disconnecting the battery could have also reset the Engine Control Unit (ECU). Hopefully, this information helps those facing similar issues with this vehicle.
