The Mazda CX-5 indeed features a digital speedometer. If it malfunctions, the fuse related to the instrument cluster might have blown. To access the fuse box beneath the car's hood, you’ll need to open the hood and secure it. On the right-hand side of the engine bay, you’ll find a black case or box. This box has a seam around it; open it up to access the fuses inside. The underside of the case lid should have a diagram indicating the purpose of each fuse. If the diagram is missing, you can also refer to the car’s owner's manual. Once you’ve identified the relevant fuse, simply remove it. The fuse will have two prongs connected by a thin strip of metal; if this strip is broken, the fuse needs replacement. If the strip is intact, the fuse is still functional and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are relatively inexpensive, typically costing around $10.
The Mazda CX-5 does feature a digital speedometer starting from the 2019 model year onwards.
