The 2015 Lexus RX350 comes with a timing belt, which is a rubber belt responsible for coordinating the movement of the camshaft and crankshaft, as well as the opening and closing of engine valves. These valves play a crucial role in pushing the pistons down when fuel ignites. If the timing belt fails, the valves won't function properly, causing the engine to fail. A new and well-maintained timing belt can lead to quicker acceleration when you step on the gas pedal. While replacement intervals vary by manufacturer, typically a timing belt should be changed every 60,000 to 100,000 miles.
