A potential issue with a Nissan NV200 door lock might be due to a malfunction in the door lock actuator, which is the mechanism responsible for locking and unlocking the doors with the push of a button. This actuator, located inside the door, consists of an electric motor, gears, and linkage or cable to control the locking mechanism. If the door lock actuators stop working, the power door lock feature will be inoperable, forcing the driver to manually use the key to lock or unlock the doors. In some cases, this can completely disable the power door locks on newer luxury vehicles that do not have a traditional key entry system.
If the door lock on a Nissan NV200 is not working correctly, it may be due to a malfunctioning door lock actuator.
