Premature failure of the drive shaft bearing support is a common problem as well. A fuel filter flange recall was issued in September 2017 due to the risk of cracking leading to a fire hazard, which affected various models. In 2004, a recall was made for faulty child restraints that could result in injuries or death during a crash. Additionally, a 2009 recall addressed cracking struts on the roof edge spoiler that could cause detachment issues.

They had to source parts from various places worldwide because there was an upgraded alternator and my glow plug harness was cracked, located under the intake manifold. The bill ended up being a whopping $4000.00, and I was extremely shocked. After selling the car, it tragically caught on fire and burned down three months later.
