The malfunctioning touch screen in the 2016 Toyota Camry is likely due to a faulty fuse. To access the fuse box under the hood of the car, you should first raise the hood and secure it in place. Along the right side of the engine compartment, there will be a black box or casing with a visible seam. Opening this casing will reveal the fuse inside. The back of the casing's lid usually contains a diagram indicating which fuse controls what function. If the diagram is not present, you can also refer to the car's owner's manual for this information. Once you have identified the fuse you need, remove it from the box. Check if the thin metal strip connecting the two raised sections of the fuse is intact - if it's broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. If the strip is unbroken, the fuse is still functional and can be reinserted. Replacement fuses are typically inexpensive, costing around $10.
