There are various factors that could be the reason why the display screen isn't functioning properly in a 2018 Ford F-150. Possible causes include a malfunctioning display screen, defective wiring, or a blown fuse. The easiest issue to identify would be a blown fuse. Find the passenger compartment fuse box, which is located on the right side of the passenger footwell. The specific fuse to look for is slot 32, which is a 10-amp flat blade MINI fuse. Use a fuse puller to carefully remove the fuse by pinching its sides. Hold the fuse up to the light and check if it is blown. If it is, replace it with a new fuse of the same amperage.
If the touch screen in the 2018 Ford F-150 isn't functioning, it might be due to a lack of power or the screen being too sensitive to register inputs.
That sure is a costly issue to deal with, especially considering my 2005 vehicle lacks the necessary feature.
