To troubleshoot nonfunctional heated seats in your GMC Terrain, first check the main fuse for the seat heaters located below the steering wheel. After locating the fuse box, remove the cover, which may contain a fuse layout diagram. Use plastic tweezers or needlenose pliers to remove the fuse. Inspect the fuse wire for a visible gap or dark/metallic smear in the glass to determine if it is blown and needs replacement. Local auto parts stores like Advance Auto Parts and AutoZone offer a range of fuses, so be sure to choose a replacement fuse that matches the correct amp and size.
The fuse is fine, but the heated seats are still not functioning.
If the heated seats in your GMC Terrain are not functioning, be sure to inspect the primary fuse that controls the seat heaters.
