If your USB port isn't working, the issue could be caused by either dirt or dust in the slot, or if the contact plate is pushed down, resulting in a failure. If these aren't the reasons, there may be a faulty fuse. To access the fuse box, check to the left of the steering wheel for a small seam in the dashboard where you can use a screwdriver or pry bar to open it. Inside, you'll find a variety of fuses. Look for a diagram on the back of the panel you removed or refer to the vehicle's owner's manual for fuse information. Once you've identified the faulty fuse, remove it. Check for a thin strip of metal connecting the two raised sections on the fuse - if it's broken, the fuse needs to be replaced. If the strip is intact, the fuse is fine and can be reinserted. New fuses are affordable, typically around $10.
