A malfunctioning fan motor will hinder air circulation, although you may still hear noise when it is turned on. Alternatively, if nothing seems to be working, it is possible that the fuse has blown. In such a case, locating the fuse box, typically situated either under the hood or to the left of the steering wheel, and replacing the fuse should be the initial step. Additionally, a malfunctioning temperature sensor near the fan motor could lead to erratic behavior from the actuator and erratic temperature readings.
